Job summary

BlueCat is seeking a seasoned network support engineer to work directly with enterprise customers, addressing DNS, DHCP, and related protocol concerns. You will diagnose issues, reproduce in test labs, and coordinate with Engineering during maintenance windows.

You will perform quarterly health checks, use packet capture and analysis, open support tickets, escalate problems, and validate upgrades to ensure stability and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with DNS, DHCP, Linux and common protocols (FTP, TFTP, NTP, SNMP, syslog).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, tenacious self-starter with a passion for constant improvement.
