Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related fields; MBA preferred.
• 8–10 years of financial or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5 years of strategic planning experience preferred.
• Collaborative leadership across matrix organizations with influence without authority.
• Knowledge of strategic planning processes and fundamentals.
• Ability to manage and coordinate processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial statements and models.
• Executive presence to engage with senior leadership and targets.
• Ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Ability to travel up to 15%

Responsibilities

• Drive annual and multi-year strategic planning with executives and leaders.
• Define templates and frameworks for planning.
• Establish milestones for strategic plans.
• Provide coaching to business leaders during planning.
• Challenge the strategic plan and assess progress.
• Identify trends, disruptive tech, threats, and opportunities.
• Recommend priorities aligning with shareholder value.
• Assess past performance and set targets.
• Monitor execution and compare to targets.
• Adjust plans as needed.
• Conduct market, competitor, and industry analyses.
• Assess macroeconomic, regulatory, technological, and geopolitical trends.
• Develop scenarios and strategic options.
• Collaborate to uncover strategic opportunities.
• Update leadership on industry changes and business climate.
• Identify and evaluate key opportunities.
• Prepare short overviews of target companies for quick assessment.
• Analyze acquisition prospects and review fundamentals.
• Assign value to targets and build financial models.
• Lead due diligence for acquisitions and support M&A integration.
