Job summary

Clera in Chicago, IL, seeks a solutions engineer to bridge pre-sales and implementation for a logistics software platform. You will collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Delivery to design tailored solutions and deliver customer demos for complex, regulated supply chains.

You will own designs from discovery through go-live, coordinating handoffs and documenting plans with clear estimates and risks.

Qualifications

5+ years delivering enterprise software implementations in solutions engineering/architecture/technical account management.
Experience owning designs from pre-sales through go-live.
Background in logistics or quality management workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery with stakeholders to map workflows, data sources, constraints.
Deliver tailored demonstrations and address technical objections.
Design solutions with modules, integrations, data needs, phasing, scope.
Create implementation plans and statements of work with estimates, deps, risks.
Collaborate with Sales on proposals to ensure technical deliverability.
Lead solution workshops and oversee configuration through go-live.
Coordinate handoffs across Product, Data, Engineering, and Delivery, share insights.
Create reusable solution designs, discovery templates, and integration patterns.
