Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Server Administrator to install, maintain, and support enterprise servers, ensuring reliability and security in a large environment in Austin, TX. You will troubleshoot issues, monitor assets, and automate tasks with scripting.

The role requires collaboration, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities. Qualifications include 3+ years in server administration, a high school diploma with a preferred Bachelor’s degree, and knowledge of Windows Server, VMware

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in server administration and troubleshooting.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware ESXi, Active Directory, DNS, basic networking, and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Site24x7, Datadog).
• Experience with patching solutions (Tanium, BigFix), Azure, Nutanix, backup/recovery, Citrix, and RHEL is desirable.
• Teamwork, information-seeking, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot server issues and manage physical and virtualized servers.
• Monitor tens of thousands of compute and networking assets.
• Use scripting to automate tasks.
• Administer patching and antivirus tooling.
• Manage AD access with authentication technologies.
• Follow enterprise policies and procedures.
• Document maintenance and support procedures for routine tasks.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and off-hours maintenance.
