Step into your future as a Server Admin! You will install, maintain, and support servers, ensuring reliability and security in a large enterprise environment. We are seeking applicants with strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
What You Will Be Doing
- Troubleshoot server issues and manage physical and virtualized servers.
- Monitor tens of thousands of compute and networking assets.
- Use scripting technologies to automate tasks efficiently.
- Administer system management tools, including patching and antivirus products.
- Manage user and computer access to Active Directory using authentication technologies.
- Follow operational policies and procedures for enterprise environments.
- Document design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks.
- Participate in a 24x7 on‑call support rotation and off‑hours maintenance.
What You Will Likely Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in server administration and troubleshooting.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of server hardware, Microsoft Windows Server, VMWare ESXi, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, basic networking, and service monitoring (e.g., Zabbix, Site24x7, Datadog).
- Experience with patching solutions (e.g., Tanium, BigFix), Microsoft Azure, Nutanix, backup and recovery, Citrix, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux is desirable.
- Ability to work as part of a team, identify and seek needed information, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and strong problem‑solving abilities.
