Job summary

Gallagher Security is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to generate new business and strengthen our presence in the Southeast USA. You will identify, assess, and close opportunities across government, education, healthcare, transportation, and manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities include building pipeline, managing complex relationships, and coordinating with channel partners and internal teams to create end-user demand and sustainable revenue.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in the security industry.
• Experience selling to state and local government, education, healthcare, transportation, manufacturing.
• Track record of building pipeline, opening new accounts, and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong channel management experience and partner relationships.
• Technical aptitude across physical and logical security, including cloud, identity, infrastructure, cybersecurity concepts.
• Strong presentation, qualification, negotiation, closing, CRM, forecasting, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong sales pipeline and close new commercial business that supports revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
• Develop and execute business development portfolio plans across targeted verticals in Southeast USA.
• Create strong end-user pull-through by building relationships with enterprise customers, channel partners, consultants, integrators, and key influencers.
• Lead customer presentations and collaborate on technical solutions that address customer business problems.
• Use customer insight, competitor awareness, and market surveillance to shape account plans, channel opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and reporting to support territory visibility and performance.
