Position Summary

Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is looking for an Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Enterprise New Business Sales team! The SDR is a professional sales role and is seen as the bench for future development within the organization. As the first point of contact for many prospects, this role will have the responsibility of maintaining Dodge’s highest level of standards as you focus on qualifying and generating new SaaS-based sales demos, meetings and opportunities to support the Enterprise Account Executives. Successful candidates are highly energetic, ambitious, friendly, and have a superior work ethic.

This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Manager, Sales Development.

Preferred Location

This is a remote, home-office role, and candidates located in the continental US will be considered.

For this position, there is a preference to hire candidates located in one of the following major metros: Ann Arbor, MI, Detroit, MI, Indianapolis, IN, DeKalb, IL, Cincinnati, OH, or Salt Lake City, UT, to attend regular in-person meetings and training sessions at a designated coworking space.

Travel Requirements

Expected travel is 25% for this role.

Essential Functions

  • Execute a multi-channel (phone, LinkedIn, email) outbound and inbound research to generate qualified enterprise meetings.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly quota for qualified meetings and pipeline contribution. Achieve daily, weekly, monthly activity, and sales lead quotas and update within CRM.
  • Learn and apply solutions-based selling by using a consultative prospecting approach.
  • Follow the standard operating procedures as set forth by management to achieve the highest success rates.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives to develop account-based targets and strategies.
  • Maintain expected call volumes.
  • Attain all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to reach and meet with the desired number of prospects per day, and improve lead to opportunity and opportunity to win ratios.

Education Requirement

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant work experience.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR) role, preferably handling Enterprise customers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sales aptitude.
  • Proficiency in desktop software including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle high-volume cold calling and build a resourceful pipeline.
  • Web/tech-savvy with an aptitude to learn SaaS products.
  • Adaptability for learning new responsibilities and processes.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Results-driven with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Experience navigating larger organizations with multiple potential buyers.
  • Comfort using LinkedIn to source contacts.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce preferred).
  • Experience in inside sales within large SaaS organizations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the commercial construction market is a plus.

Salary Disclosure

Base Salary Range: $50,000 + UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS! This is a full-time role with a competitive salary, benefits, and commissions or bonuses based on performance.
