Job Description:

The Enterprise Sales Account Executive for our Energy team is an outside sales opportunity with assigned accounts acrossUS territory. This position will cover the energy supplier and wholesaler market and leverage the DTN solution suite across Refined Fuels.You will also work closely with existing sales team and build on their experience.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Contacting largeRefined Fuels Suppliers or Wholesalers to promote DTN’s suite of information services and solutions.

  • Customer responsive and service focused will develop and maintain new accounts and existing customer relationships.Will spend 70% of time on solution upsells to existing clients.

  • Use a consultative sales approach to understand the needs of the energy prospect or customer to demonstrate the value of the DTN products, insights, and services.

  • Engaging communication with active listening and problem solving for customers to understand their unmet needs and how DTN solutions may be of benefit and serve those needs.

  • Manage a pipeline of new business as well as increase spend on existing customers.

  • Identify and communicate sales opportunities through use of CRM system.

  • Visiting prospective clients and existing customers in the assigned territory with approximate travel at 40% rate within assigned territory

What you will bring to the role:

  • 8+ years of sales and territory management experience.

  • Software and Information as a Service sales experience isrequired.

  • Must be assertive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.

  • Demonstrated strengths in relationship building, problem solving, and solutions selling.

  • Self-starter with proven track record of delivering sales results.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonaland leadership abilities.

  • Ability todesign, present and solution proposals using Microsoft Power Point, and demonstrate products in person or via Web Meeting.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, environment and handle multiple concurrent projects.

  • Knowledge of the energy industry is preferred.

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $108,750 and $145,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
