Job summary

Success Academy Charter Schools in the United States is seeking a Program Manager, Safety & Security to lead enterprise programs that strengthen emergency preparedness, security operations, investigations, intelligence, and the 24/7 Command Center.

Reporting to the Director of Safety & Security, you will drive scalable, measurable programs, collaborate with Technology, Schooling, Legal, HR, and other teams, and continuously improve procedures and data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4 years of security industry experience, to include leading and supporting enterprise programs within corporate security, public safety, emergency management, investigations, intelligence, or other mission-critical operational environments.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of Global Security Operations Centers (GSOCs), Command Center operations, emergency preparedness, intelligence, and incident management.
• Experience implementing enterprise security technologies such as incident management, mass notification, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) research, access control, video management, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with outsourced operations or third-party vendors through KPIs, SLAs, and their continuous improvement.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication and relationship management skills with experience briefing senior leaders and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple high-impact initiatives while exercising sound judgment in fast-paced operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead enterprise programs that strengthen emergency preparedness, security operations, investigations, intelligence, and the 24/7 Command Center to ensure lessons learned become lasting improvements that are scalable and replicable across the network.
• Emergency preparedness responsibilities include planning drills, testing policies and protocols, tabletop exercises, and after-action reviews.
• Continuously improve operating procedures and governance processes for Safety & Security services across the enterprise.
• Lead cross-functional projects with Technology, Schooling, Legal, Supply Chain, HR, Communications, Operations, and other Network teams.
• Support Command Center data integration and analytic reporting to identify security trends and KPIs, and improve safety operations.
• Coordinate enterprise response during significant incidents with timely information and organized response.
• Explore improvements through technology, AI, automation, process redesign, and vendor management.
• Partner with technology teams and vendors to visualize data, improve platforms, and enhance tools for Safety & Security operations.
