Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of related experience, OSHA 511 or equivalent, and the ability to travel up to 20% for out-of-state assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferred.
• 5+ years related experience.
• Working knowledge of state and federal guidelines and statutes.
• Must have OSHA 511 or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Up to 20% out of state travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify regulatory requirements and set objectives and targets.
• Conduct safety audits and partner with local teams to implement corrective actions.
• Attend incident reviews to determine root cause and outline corrective actions.
• Establish a consistent safety workflow process.
• Track Safety Management Program activity and costs.
• Audits for customers or third party auditors.
• Perform root-cause analysis and develop prevention strategies.
• Streamline reporting, updates to management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide input on policy changes to aid regulatory compliance.
• Submit OSHA logs for each location.
