Qualifications

• Foundational experience with quantitative analysis, financial or statistical modeling, or complex analytical coursework or projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of SQL and VBA.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, completeness, data integrity, and documentation.
• Ability to learn complex quantitative models and build subject-matter expertise over time.
• Self-starter mindset with initiative to ask questions and own assignments.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of quantitative risk models, data flows, and business context.
• Support economic capital model and risk-quantification tools; test and reconcile results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data and translate into analysis.
• Prepare and analyze complex datasets; profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Use SQL, Excel, and VBA, and potentially Python/R, to extract and analyze data and report.
• Maintain auditable documentation of data sources, rules, and model methodologies.
• Support stress-scenario development and enterprise risk quantification.
• Build relationships and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Take ownership, ask questions, and identify improvements for data quality and processes.
