Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a detail-oriented risk analyst to support the Enterprise Risk Management program across quantitative risk analysis, regulatory deliverables, and broader ERM activities. You will maintain and enhance models and collaborate with subject matter experts.

This role emphasizes data extraction with SQL, Excel, and VBA, plus Python or R where applicable; a Bachelor's degree is required; a self-starter mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience with quantitative analysis, financial or statistical modeling, or complex analytical coursework or projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of SQL and VBA.
• Ability to learn complex quantitative models and document them clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of quantitative risk models, their data flows, calculations, assumptions and dependencies.
• Support enterprise economic capital model and risk-quantification tools with testing and updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect data and translate business information into quantitative analysis.
• Prepare and analyze complex datasets with profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Use SQL, Excel, and VBA (and Python/R where applicable) to extract data and perform analysis.
• Maintain auditable documentation of data sources, rules, model methodologies and governance.
