Qualifications

• Foundational experience with quantitative analysis, financial or statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of SQL and VBA.
• Ability and willingness to learn complex quantitative models and maintain them over time.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of quantitative risk models and own their maintenance and enhancement.
• Support enterprise economic capital model and risk-quantification tools, investigate issues and implement changes.
• Collaborate with SMEs to collect data, interpret definitions and translate to analysis.
• Prepare and analyze complex datasets, profiling, cleansing, validation and reconciliation.
• Use SQL, Excel, VBA, R or Python to extract data, perform analysis and automate reporting.
• Document data sources, model methodologies, assumptions, and governance activities.
• Support stress-scenario development and enterprise risk quantification.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and provide status updates.
• Own assignments, seek improvements in data quality and process efficiency.
