Job summary

Stifel, Incorporated is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Intern to contribute to risk initiatives across departments including Third Party Risk Management, Business Continuity, and IT Disaster Recovery. This internship provides hands-on experience in a financial services environment and helps build a foundation for a career in risk management.

You will work with experienced professionals, gain exposure to risk governance processes, and develop documentation and data quality practices

Qualifications

• Minimum Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, risk management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with relevant financial systems and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Support business continuity plan reviews, procedure documentation, and tabletop exercises.
• Assist with recovery governance, RTO/RPO roadmap activities, runbook reviews, and disaster recovery exercise readiness.
• Support third-party due diligence follow-ups, vendor data maintenance, reporting, mailbox coordination, and OneTrust administration.
• Structured assignments that strengthen program documentation, data quality, governance, and operational preparedness while providing practical experience in core risk management function

The Enterprise Risk Management Intern works in a variety of departments, including Third Party Risk Management, Business Continuity, and IT Disaster Recovery. What We're Looking For
