Job summary
Corewell Health seeks an Enterprise Risk Management Partner to advise on system-wide initiatives and drive compliance across client groups. You will help design and implement compliance programs, partner with leaders for strategic guidance, and strengthen risk-awareness across the organization.
The role focuses on mitigating strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, and emerging risks, with hybrid onsite obligations in Grand Rapids.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, health care operations, nursing or related area.
- 7 years of progressive compliance experience and/or clinical or operational leadership experience.
- Preferred 3 years of Compliance experience.
- 3 years leading system-wide and/or client group specific projects.
- 3 years partnering with leaders in high-level roles.
- 3 years of Strategic planning, financial planning and operational business discussions.
- CRT-Healthcare Compliance certification within 1 year after hire.
- CRT-Professional Coder certification within 1 year after hire.
- CRT-Coding Specialist certification within 1 year after hire.
- CRT-Fraud Examiner certification within 1 year after hire.
- CRT-Internal Auditor certification within 1 year after hire.
- CRT-Healthcare Privacy Compliance certification preferred.
- CRT-IRB Professional certification within 1 year after hire.
- CRT-Healthcare Research Compliance certifications within 1 year after hire.
Responsibilities
- Strategically advise on system-wide initiatives addressing strategic and operational goals.
- Provide strategic compliance guidance to leaders on regulatory requirements.
- Partner with leaders to maintain positive relationships with the Compliance department.
- Solve complex compliance challenges as a member of operational teams.
- Drive business growth by advising on compliance considerations for new ventures.
- Identify risk mitigation techniques to support project development.
- Provide exceptional customer service and promote engagement with compliance.
