Qualifications

• 4+ years administering a construction ERP (Spectrum preferred).
• Owned an ERP security model, not just access requests.
• Hands-on ODBC/SQL extracts and imports; not SQL-only.
• Working knowledge of construction accounting: job cost, WIP, A/P/A/R, payroll.

Responsibilities

• Administer Spectrum (or ramp from Vista): accounts, roles, module access, segregation of duties
• Build and maintain ODBC extracts and data-exchange imports; fix what breaks
• Validate job-cost coding, labor cost, WIP, AP/AR, and payroll data with finance
• Triage and prioritize enhancement requests; ship quick wins; queue real build work
• Support integrations (payroll, field, procurement, timekeeping) as the internal point of contact
• Reports / dashboards: Spectrum BI, Crystal, or Power BI via ODBC
• Grow into module configuration (Job Cost, Payroll, AP/AR, Service, Work Orders)

Construction ERP Specialist (Trimble Viewpoint Spectrum / Vista)

A PE-backed specialty contractor in Southern California needs an in‑house owner for Trimble Viewpoint Spectrum.

This is not a helpdesk seat and not a strategy job. You run the construction ERP: users and security, job‑cost data integrity, ODBC / data‑exchange, and the request backlog — and you sit with finance and operations so IT leadership is not in every ticket.

Spectrum experience is the cleanest fit. Senior Viewpoint Vista administrators who have owned security and job cost are encouraged to apply. There is a real ramp onto Spectrum mechanics; this is not sink‑or‑swim.

WHAT WE NEED

• 4+ years administering a construction ERP (Spectrum strongly preferred; senior Vista welcome)
• You have owned an ERP security model — not only requested access
• Hands‑on ODBC or SQL extracts and imports (front‑end ERP configuration matters; SQL‑only is not enough)
• Working knowledge of construction accounting: job cost, WIP, AP/AR, payroll
• You can translate a field or finance request into system setup and explain it in plain language

Titles can be ERP Specialist, Spectrum Admin, Vista Admin, Viewpoint Administrator, Job Cost Systems Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst. Construction software ownership matters more than the title.

Not a match: generic SAP / Oracle / NetSuite / ServiceNow with no construction ERP, or end‑user / clerk work with no admin ownership.

LOCATION

Carson, California. 4 days onsite / 1 day remote. Not a fully remote role.

PAY

$125,000 – $150,000 (good‑faith range) plus medical, dental, 401(k), PTO, and sick time.
