Job summary

Scale AI is seeking a product design leader to grow the Enterprise design team in San Francisco. You will set the direction for enterprise design, translate vision into actionable priorities, and lead hiring and development of a growing team.

You will partner with product and engineering to embed design from problem scoping through delivery, raising the craft bar and shaping Scale's design system. You will drive user-focused decisions for AI-enabled enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing product design teams.
• Data-dense, power-user workflows into elegant solutions for B2B.
• Customer-centric decisions grounded in user needs and business impact.
• AI-native workflows for teams, and fluency with AI changes in design.
• Experience designing for agentic platforms and future interaction patterns.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction for Enterprise design and translate vision into team priorities.
• Build and lead the design team; hire, develop and establish operating rhythms.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to embed design from problem scoping to delivery.
• Raise the craft bar; uphold quality and push beyond traditional workflows.
• Shape Scale's design system adoption and contribute patterns for speed.
• Ground decisions in enterprise user needs and advocate this with partners.
• Define interaction patterns for human-in-the-loop AI and trusted workflows.
