Job summary

OMES seeks a Procurement Business Analyst to support the Procurement Center of Excellence. This role analyzes procurement processes, documents requirements, and ensures compliance with statewide standards while liaising with procurement operations, IT, and agency partners.

You will configure and test enhancements in Ivalua and PeopleSoft Financials, maintain process documentation, and provide end-user support, reporting, and data validation to sustain reliable procurement operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of procurement principles and state/public-sector processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; willingness to learn PeopleSoft Financials.

Responsibilities

• Analyze procurement processes and identify system/workflow improvements.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Ivalua and PeopleSoft Financials.
• Document business requirements and translate into functional specs.
• Assist configuration, testing, and validation of system enhancements and integrations.
• Develop and maintain procurement process docs, SOPs, and job aids.
• Support end users with issues and guidance on policies and workflows.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, risks, and bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with IT and Finance to ensure compliance and reporting.
• Participate in system upgrade and project teams.
• Maintain supplier, contract, and procurement data integrity.
