Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union seeks a senior practitioner to lead cross-enterprise simplification initiatives addressing systemic operational friction and experience breakdowns. You will shape problem framing, design scalable solutions, and execute across multiple journeys and platforms with high autonomy.

The role partners with leaders to deliver durable improvements in efficiency, capacity, quality, and member experience while ensuring regulatory soundness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6-8 years of experience in process simplification or operational excellence.
• Experience leading cross-functional, enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Financial services or regulated industry experience required.
• Advanced Lean or Six Sigma certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and simplification across multi-domain problem spaces.
• Diagnose systemic process and experience breakdowns across teams, products, and platforms.
• Translate enterprise pain points into clear, structured problem statements.
• Design scalable end-to-end simplification solutions with defined outcomes.
• Influence cross-functional leaders to drive alignment and action.
• Define success metrics and adoption considerations for durable impact.
• Anticipate regulatory and risk implications of proposed changes.
• Mentor analysts and managers in structured problem solving.
• Apply human-centered design and systems thinking to root causes.
• Synthesize VoM and VoE insights to inform prioritization.
