Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise privacy engineering and data protection across structured and unstructured data. Lead initiatives in data discovery, encryption, tokenization, anonymization, DLP, and privacy-by-design, collaborating with Cybersecurity, Legal, and Compliance to translate regulations into scalable architectures.

You will influence the privacy strategy, shape the tech roadmap, and apply automation and analytics to protect PHI, PII, and other

Qualifications

5+ years in Privacy Engineering, Security Engineering, Data Protection, or related fields.
Experience implementing GDPR/CCPA/HIPAA controls and privacy tech.
Strong software engineering foundation with scripting languages.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy and implementation of data protection and privacy engineering initiatives.
Design and deploy Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) and DLP solutions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed privacy‑by‑design.
Conduct privacy risk assessments, threat modeling, and control evaluations.
Drive governance, metrics, and continuous improvement of privacy programs.
