Akkodis is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead a large-scale POS modernization across approximately 7,000 locations. This role will build the implementation roadmap, oversee integrations, lab setup, testing, change management, and enterprise rollout.

You will drive a complex program from planning through deployment across distributed locations, collaborating with senior leaders and vendors. The position is long-term and 100% remote, offering a competitive hourly rate for W2

We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead a large-scale, multi-year POS modernization across approximately 7,000 locations. This person will help build the implementation roadmap, oversee integrations, lab setup, testing, change management, and enterprise rollout. We’re looking for someone with proven experience leading large-scale POS implementations across distributed, multi-location environments, strong vendor and cross-functional leadership skills, and the ability to drive a complex technology program from planning through deployment.

This is a long-term contract opportunity that is 100% remote.

Compensation: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour, W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Responsibilities for the Enterprise POS Program Manager:

• Lead the overall enterprise POS modernization program, owning the integrated program plan, technical workstreams, milestones, dependencies, risks, governance, and executive-level reporting.


• Drive the upfront POS solution buildout and technical integration, including vendor transition, lab setup, software/configuration activities, integrations, testing, issue resolution, and production readiness.


• Coordinate and hold accountable multiple technical teams and vendors, including engineering, development, infrastructure, testing, POS vendors, integration partners, and business stakeholders.


• Manage the transition into enterprise deployment, ensuring the solution is technically ready for rollout and partnering with Restaurant Operations while maintaining high-level oversight of progress across approximately 7,000 corporate and franchise locations.

Job Qualifications for the Enterprise POS Program Manager:

• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise POS modernization or replacement programs, ideally across restaurant, QSR, retail, grocery, or other multi-location environments.


• Strong technical program management background, with experience overseeing POS solution buildout, system integrations, testing, technical dependencies, and deployment readiness.


• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent IT workstreams, coordinating engineering, development, infrastructure, testing, vendors, and integration partners.


• Strong enterprise program leadership and vendor management skills, including integrated program planning, risk management, executive reporting, stakeholder communication, and driving accountability across complex, multi-year initiatives.
