Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an Implement & Coding Consultant to lead coding strategy development, implementation, and evaluation across the enterprise. The role requires coordinating with clinical and operations teams to ensure compliant policy execution and documentation.

You will maintain coding guidelines, support research initiatives, and drive quality assurance for code assignment in adjudication systems, with responsibility for periodic updates and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required with 5+ years in medical policy including leading large multi-stakeholder regional or enterprise projects.
• CPC certification strongly preferred and experience applying coding guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of corporate medical policy coding strategies across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with clinical and operations stakeholders to execute policy implementation and monitor outcomes.
• Maintain Coding section within policy documents and support Medical Policy Research team.
• Develop QA processes to ensure accurate code assignment and translation within adjudication systems.
• Coordinate weekly Coding & Implementation meetings and manage related materials.
