Pacific Life Insurance Company in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a VP, Head of Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO) to build and lead an enterprise Center of Excellence. This role establishes governance, standards, and an operating model to translate strategy into measurable outcomes across a matrixed global organization.

You will recruit and mentor a high-performing team, embed portfolio discipline across divisions, and partner with Strategy, Finance, Risk, Technology, and others to enable

Qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise portfolio management, transformation, or related field.
• Proven track record building/resetting an enterprise PMO.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industry.
• Ability to influence across a matrixed, international org without direct authority.
• Experience leading hub-and-spoke PMO model and building communities of practice.

Responsibilities

• Build the Enterprise PMO and Center of Excellence.
• Create the ePMO vision, operating model, roadmap, and service portfolio.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team with PMO capabilities.
• Establish enterprise-wide portfolio governance and prioritization.
• Design executive governance forums for timely decisions.
• Develop and implement standards, templates, and minimum controls.
• Balance enterprise consistency with regional/regulatory requirements.
• Foster a global, cross-functional PMO community and partner with key leaders.
• Drive insights, dashboards, and evidence-based decision making.
