Walgreens in Deerfield, IL is seeking an Enterprise PMO leader to drive consistent project, program, and portfolio practices across the organization. You will govern strategic initiatives, align investments with priorities, and report on portfolio health and business value realization.

Based in our Deerfield office, this role is on-site four days a week and partners with senior leaders to build strong governance, resource planning, and execution that accelerates strategic outcomes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience in project/portfolio management.
• 5+ years of leadership experience, including matrix or cross-functional leadership.
• Experience leading enterprise programs and governance across functions.
• Experience facilitating executive governance, decision-making, and reporting.
• Experience managing project financials, budgets, forecasts, and business cases.
• Willing to travel up to 10% for business purposes.

Responsabilidades

• Leads and manages the Enterprise PMO, ensuring governance, processes, tools, methodologies, and standards are applied.
• Oversees the enterprise portfolio of strategic initiatives with transparency into performance, milestones, risks, and resources.
• Partners with business and functional leaders to align investments with priorities and objectives.
• Facilitates portfolio governance processes including intake, prioritization, funding, and stage-gate reviews.
• Establishes portfolio reporting, executive dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Drives proactive risk management, dependencies, and change impacts to improve outcomes.
• Collaborates to develop business cases, roadmaps, and value realization plans.
• Manages resource planning and allocation across prioritized initiatives.
• Leads continuous improvement to enhance governance maturity and organizational effectiveness.
• Ensures adherence to methodologies, controls, and quality standards; supports annual planning and budgeting.
• Mentors PMO staff and fosters cross-functional collaboration and succession planning.
• Serves as strategic partner to senior leaders with recommendations to accelerate value delivery.
