Job summary

Baseten is seeking an engineer for its enterprise engineering team to build capabilities for large organizations, including identity and access management, billing, multi-tenant isolation, private connectivity, and self-hosted deployment options.

You’ll work across the full stack with product, design, and customer teams to shape security, compliance, and scalable architectures for customers like Writer, HubSpot, and Notion.

Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise software including IAM, billing, multi-tenant controls, private connectivity, or compliance initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and operate scale systems with customer collaboration.
• Comfort across the full stack, from product code to cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, ambiguous engineering initiatives from problem definition through implementation and iteration.
• Make thoughtful architectural decisions balancing customer needs with simplicity and scalability.
• Partner with product, design, and customer teams to translate feedback into durable technical solutions.
• Establish engineering practices for quality, security, observability, and ownership.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the team.
