Job summary

Firecrawl is hiring for an experienced backend security engineer who will own the cloud layer, including security, deployment, and infrastructure. You’ll join sales conversations to interpret enterprise needs and build platform capabilities for large customers.

This is a 0-to-1 role with ownership from day one, combining hands-on engineering with enterprise collaboration. You’ll need deep cloud security and IAM fundamentals, experience with multi-cloud/hybrid setups, and proficiency in

• Shipped enterprise security features with deep IAM and cloud security.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid infrastructure and on‑prem deployments.
• Strong ability to design security reviews and translate enterprise needs into platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise requirements end to end from security review to shipped platform capability.
• Sit in enterprise sales conversations to translate needs into built features.
• Build security and deployment capabilities across cloud and on‑prem.
• Turn one‑off enterprise asks into reusable platform components.
• Collaborate with founders and core engineers to land your designs.
• Ship what you design; this is a building role, not advisory.
