Job summary

Firecrawl is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to build and operate the platform infrastructure that powers its crawling, scraping, and search products. You will own Kubernetes workloads, multi-cloud deployment, and cost-efficient operations at web scale.

Applicants should have 5+ years of DevOps/Platform Engineering experience with Kubernetes, GCP/AWS/Azure, and Terraform. This role requires hybrid work in San Francisco, CA and on-site presence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience operating stateful distributed systems on Kubernetes at scale.
• Strong knowledge of cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and IaC tooling.
• Hands-on experience with containerized deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with security controls (SSO/SAML, audit logging, SOC2) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure behind Firecrawl’s products.
• Run large stateful workloads on Kubernetes with zero-downtime upgrades.
• Own CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automations, and deployments.
• Drive down infrastructure cost as traffic grows.
• Build observability and define SLIs/SLOs and customer-facing SLAs.
• Support enterprise controls and security reviews behind SOC 2 requirements.
• Collaborate with product and search engineers to productionize services.
• Own incident lifecycle from on-call to postmortems.
