Job summary

Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc. is seeking a Senior Strategic Planning Leader to govern and continuously improve the corporate planning framework and enterprise planning operating model.

You will establish standards, validate insights, and translate them into actionable planning guidance to drive alignment across business areas. You will own the quality of the corporate plan, facilitate executive sessions, and ensure a shared planning language across the organization while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
12–14 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, enterprise governance, or digital/technology-focused planning.
Deep knowledge of strategic planning frameworks and enterprise planning governance.
Strong understanding of financials, business cases, cost modeling, and performance measures.

Responsibilities

Govern and continuously improve the Corporate Planning Framework and enterprise planning operating model.
Coordinate convergence between enterprise and functional strategies by identifying dependencies and resolving conflicts.
Facilitate planning sessions that drive alignment and support the creation of a unified Corporate Plan.
Own corporate plan quality and ensure clear objectives, initiatives, measures, and documentation.
Measure planning effectiveness and lead continuous improvement to mature enterprise planning capabilities.
