Job summary

Eiden Systems Consulting is seeking a PKI and Cyber Security Engineer to support enterprise PKI operations and DoD-aligned cybersecurity initiatives for the Defense Logistics Agency. You will engineer, implement, and maintain CA, OCSP, and certificate management across on‑premises and cloud environments.

The role emphasizes high availability, vulnerability remediation, and DoD/STIG/IAVM/NIST/FIPS compliance, with collaboration across government stakeholders and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance preferred.
• Degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity or related field; hands-on acceptable in lieu of degree.
• IAT Level II certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+ or cloud certs).
• Hands-on experience with certificate services, lifecycle mgmt, and OCSP.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, deploy, and sustain enterprise PKI infrastructure incl. CA servers and OCSP responders.
• Configure AD CS, NDES, SCEP, and certificate management solutions.
• Support PKI/OCSP in Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Manage SSL/TLS, device, code-signing certificates and NPE certificates.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for PKI services.
• Apply security patches and STIG/IAVM/NIST/FIPS controls.
• Produce documentation, SOPs, runbooks, COOPs and key recovery docs.
• Participate in security audits, risk assessments and compliance activities.
