Job summary

Eiden Systems Consulting (ESC) is seeking a PKI and Cyber Security Engineer to support enterprise PKI operations and cybersecurity initiatives for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The successful candidate will have hands-on experience engineering, implementing, securing, and maintaining enterprise PKI environments, including CA infrastructure, OCSP, certificate management, and cloud integration.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance is required.
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred; hands-on experience may substitute.
IAT Level II certification (e.g., CISSP, Security+, Azure certs, MCSE, etc.).
Demonstrated experience engineering, administering, and supporting enterprise PKI environments.
Hands-on experience with certificate services, lifecycle management, and OCSP infrastructure.
Experience with Microsoft AD CS and related enrollment technologies.
Experience supporting Windows Server environments (physical/virtual).
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability remediation, and DoD/DoD security requirements.
Ability to develop technical documentation and support plans.
Strong communication skills with government customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Engineer, implement, and sustain enterprise PKI infrastructure (CA servers, OCSP, cert management).
Configure and maintain PKI tech (AD CS, NDES, SCEP, certificate mgmt).
Support PKI/OCSP integration with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
Develop certificate issuance for SSL/TLS, NPE, device, code-signing certs.
Integrate PKI with enterprise apps, web portals, and systems requiring cert-based access.
Design highly available PKI infrastructure and DR capabilities.
Perform PKI troubleshooting, RCA, Diagnostics, service recovery.
Apply patches and config changes to remediate vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs, IAVM, NIST, FIPS.
Create SOPs, runbooks, COOPs, and key recovery documentation.
Support enterprise key management and key ceremonies with multi-person integrity.
Participate in security audits, assessments, and audit readiness.
Coordinate with government stakeholders and external vendors on projects.
Support PKI middleware configuration, testing, and upgrades.
Contribute to PKI modernization efforts and DoD requirements.
