Job summary

Eiden Systems Consulting (ESC) is recruiting a PKI and Cyber Security Engineer to support enterprise PKI operations and cybersecurity initiatives for DoD clients. You will work on CA infrastructure, OCSP services, certificate management, and cloud integration to ensure secure, highly available certificate services.

You will collaborate with system administrators, vendors, and government stakeholders to troubleshoot complex issues, improve resiliency, and implement evolving DoD security

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Degree preferred; hands-on exp may substitute.
• IAT Level II certs listed in requirements.
• Experience engineering, administering, and supporting enterprise PKI environments.
• Hands-on experience with certificate services, issuance, lifecycle mgmt.
• Experience with AD CS and related enrollment technologies.
• Experience supporting Windows Server environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, vulnerability remediation and compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication with government customers.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, implement, optimize, and sustain enterprise PKI infrastructure (CA servers, OCSP responders, repeaters).
• Configure, deploy, and maintain PKI technologies: AD CS, NDES, SCEP, certificate mgmt solutions.
• Support PKI and OCSP integration with cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• Develop maintenance for SSL/TLS, NPE, device, code-signing certificates.
• Integrate PKI with enterprise apps and systems needing certificate-based access.
• Design highly available PKI infra with DR capabilities.
• Perform PKI troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize outages.
• Apply patches, upgrades, and config changes to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs, IAVM, NIST, FIPS.
