Job summary

RGP is seeking a Payroll Testing Consultant to support a large-scale payroll implementation focused on UAT and payroll validation. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, end-to-end payroll processing, and collaboration with payroll, IT, and implementation teams.

Ideal candidates have recent experience with mid-to-large-scale enterprise payroll projects and union payroll requirements, with availability for onsite work in downtown Chicago four days per week.

Qualifications

• Recent experience supporting a mid-to-large-scale enterprise payroll implementation.
• Strong hands-on UAT and payroll system testing experience.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end payroll processing and validation.
• Experience with test case execution, defect management, and issue resolution.
• Ability to contribute immediately with minimal training.

Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on UAT and test scenarios for an enterprise payroll implementation.
• Validate payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, overtime, and overall payroll results.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects and configuration issues.
• Perform end-to-end payroll testing and verify system functionality against business requirements.
• Collaborate with payroll, IT, and implementation teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Test union-specific payroll rules and requirements, where applicable.
