Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Workday Payroll Systems Analyst in Cleveland, OH to support the transition from SAP to Workday and oversee payroll testing and auditing. This role focuses on validating configurations, executing test scripts, ensuring compliance with laws, and preparing audit-ready documentation.

This is a hands-on testing-focused position with a hybrid onsite schedule (Monday–Thursday in the office, Friday remote). USC or GC status is required for employment eligibility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience testing Workday Payroll processes.
• Experience auditing payroll data for accuracy and compliance.
• USC or GC holder required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts for Workday Payroll and time processes.
• Test functionality for legislative and policy compliance.
• Validate enhancements and configuration changes for expected results.
• Audit payroll data, calculations, and outputs for accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze test results, document defects, and coordinate retesting.
• Maintain the test script library to improve coverage.
• Run and analyze reports to support validation and troubleshooting.
• Assist Payroll, HR, Legal, IT on system issues and resolutions.
• Prepare test evidence and documentation for audits.
• Collaborate with teams to validate corrective actions.
• Document testing procedures and system behavior.
