Job summary

Great River Resort & Casino is seeking a Technology Manager, Engineering & Telecommunications to lead enterprise network engineering and telecom operations across multiple properties in a gaming and hospitality environment.

The role requires a strong background in network engineering, telecommunications, and security, with vendor coordination and incident escalation responsibilities. A bachelor’s degree and CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Networking, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 6+ years hands-on enterprise network engineering or telecommunications experience.
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications required.
• Experience with enterprise switching, routing, firewalls, wireless, WAN connectivity, and VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Leads enterprise network engineering, telecommunications administration, operational support across multiple properties.
• Oversees LAN/WAN infrastructure, wireless systems, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and voice systems.
• Manages coordination with vendors, carriers, and support providers.
• Assists with network architecture planning, modernization, and continuity initiatives.
• Acts as senior escalation point for networking and telecommunications incidents.
• Implements and maintains security configurations, firewall policies, and remote access.
• Coordinates with hospitality, gaming systems, and other technology teams for reliable operations.
• Maintains documentation, reports, and compliance with standards.
