Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a Manager, Network Services to execute the enterprise network strategy and oversee daily operation across data centers, WAN, cloud, and infrastructure. This role leads network engineers, contractors, and service providers while driving modernization and talent development.

The position focuses on reliability, performance, observability, and security, with responsibilities spanning budget planning, vendor management, and security policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT/CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of experience with at least 5 in leadership roles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the strategic vision and roadmap for enterprise network services.
• Evaluate and implement emerging network technologies.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and human error.
• Serve as a senior escalation point during critical network incidents.
• Design, implement, and support SD-WAN, LAN, data center networking, wireless infrastructure.
• Ensure network reliability, performance, scalability, observability, and security.
• Implement and enforce network security policies and compliance requirements.
• Participate in security assessments and audits.
• Assist with budget planning, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network professionals and managed service partners.
• Collaborate with business and IT leaders to deliver high-quality network services.
