Job summary

Hollister Incorporated in Libertyville, IL, seeks a Manager of Network Engineering and Administration to lead enterprise and OT networks, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available services. You will drive standards, monitoring, and automation while partnering with Cybersecurity, Cloud, Manufacturing, and IT teams.

The role requires strong leadership, 8–12 years in IT infrastructure with network expertise, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8‑12 years of related experience.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive IT infrastructure experience, including enterprise network engineering, network administration, and network operations.
• Minimum 5–8 years of leadership experience leading engineers, administrators, analysts, and/or technical support teams.
• Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, AWS/Azure networking, ITIL, automation, cloud, or project/program leadership certifications).
• Demonstrated experience managing Enterprise Network and Operational Technology (OT) Network environments, including routing, switching, wireless, remote connectivity, internet services, monitoring, high availability design, and production support in complex multi-site environments.
• Experience with automation, scripting, and infrastructure as code concepts for network provisioning, configuration management, and operational efficiency is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership of network engineering and administration teams, with ability to establish expectations, prioritize, manage through change, and maintain accountability for service quality.
• Deep knowledge of Enterprise Network and OT concepts and technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, VPN, internet connectivity, segmentation, redundancy, failover, core services, and cloud‑connected environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead network engineering and administration function across enterprise and OT networks (LAN/WAN/wireless/VPN/core services).
• Establish and maintain network engineering standards, operating procedures, support models, lifecycle planning, and documentation.
• Manage day-to-day network operations and engineering priorities across office, data center, remote, and plant environments.
• Design, operate, and improve network services for high availability and business continuity.
• Own network monitoring and observability strategy across enterprise, OT, and cloud-connected environments.
• Lead network-related change management, maintenance planning, and governance to reduce risk and improve stability.
