Job summary

Bolthouse Fresh Foods is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure our enterprise IT/OT networks across multiple locations. You will lead architecture, firewall policy design, VPNs, and cloud connectivity while mentoring other engineers.

The role requires ensuring availability, reliability, and security of critical systems, with travel up to 10% and a 1st shift schedule in Bakersfield, CA. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and security.
• Experience across multiple locations and IT/OT environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network architectures across locations.
• Lead routing, switching, VLAN/DMZ/zone-based design and documentation.
• Design and maintain firewall policies using least-privilege and Zero Trust.
• Administer Fortinet, VPNs, and secure remote access technologies.
• Support IT/OT segmentation and cloud connectivity, and mentor junior engineers.
• Coordinate with operations, vendors, and cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.
