Job summary

Office Ally is seeking a Network Engineer to design, manage, and secure our enterprise network stack across data center, cloud, and office sites, including Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers, DNS, NGINX proxies, and UniFi gear.

You will collaborate with cloud security and application teams to ensure high availability, SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance, and streamlined network operations for healthcare providers and payers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Network Eng or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on network engineering in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and PAN-OS.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM and SSL offload.
• DNS fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• NGINX reverse proxying and TLS termination.
• UniFi switching and wireless environments across sites.
• Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs.
• Security principles: segmentation, NAC, 802.1X, zero-trust concepts.
• Automation scripts (Python/Bash) for network tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure.
• Administer Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama for policy mgmt.
• Configure VPNs (GlobalProtect, IPsec) and high-availability setups.
• Manage F5 BIG-IP LTM for load balancing and TLS offload.
• Administer UniFi across multiple sites and VPN/Gateway configs.
• Maintain DNS, NGINX proxies, and SSL/tls configs.
• Implement network segmentation, NAC, and zero-trust controls.
• Monitor networks with SNMP/NetFlow and keep runbooks updated.
