Job summary

ESO is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to architect, configure, and continually improve our cloud and hybrid network infrastructure. You will work with a team that values candor, collaboration, and steady progress over heroics.

You will design, deploy, and manage cloud and hybrid networks, configure F5 BIG-IP for load balancing, and administer Barracuda WAFs to protect layers. Strong Azure networking and firewall policy experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on network engineering experience in cloud environments.
• Proven experience configuring and managing F5 BIG-IP (LTM, ASM/WAF).
• Strong knowledge of load balancing and application delivery.
• Experience with Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway).
• Familiarity with Barracuda, SonicWall and other network appliances.
• Ability to translate security requirements into network policy and enforce it.
• Direct, open communication style with peers and stakeholders.
• Growth mindset and continuous improvement approach

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud and hybrid network infrastructure across environments.
• Configure and manage F5 BIG-IP systems for load balancing and application delivery.
• Administer WAFs like Barracuda to protect application and network layers
• Collaborate with security and engineering to evaluate risk and resolve incidents
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and document resolutions
• Identify gaps and improvements and follow through on recommendations
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through steady progress
