Job summary

Beacon Hill seeks a Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team and lead designs, deployments, and support of enterprise networks. The role emphasizes hands-on implementation and collaboration with peers to ensure reliable operations.

The ideal candidate will deploy Cisco Catalyst 9000/8000 series equipment, troubleshoot complex issues, and document configurations and procedures for ongoing maintenance. This is an on-site role located in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on networking experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of OSI model and network fundamentals.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9000 switches and Catalyst 8000 routers.
• Excellent documentation and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Install and support Cisco switches and routers.
• Troubleshoot issues across Layers 1-3 of the OSI model.
• Deploy and support access layer and distribution layer networks.
• Participate in network upgrades, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and operations to ensure project delivery.
