Job summary

Big River Steel in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Network Administrator to design, implement, operate, and continuously improve our enterprise networking environment across data center, office IT, and process control networks.

You will work with Cisco technologies (ISE, DNA Center, Nexus, Catalyst) and security-focused architectures to ensure scalable, available networks that support analytics, automation, and manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

7–10 years of enterprise or industrial networking experience.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.
Experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, ASA, ISE, DNA Center, and Meraki.
Familiarity with BGP/OSPF routing in data center, campus, or WAN environments.
Ability to design and operate high-availability network architectures in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support complex enterprise network architectures across data center, campus, WAN, wireless, and process control environments.
Engineer and maintain Cisco-based infrastructure including Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, ISE, DNA Center, and Meraki.
Design, implement, and support dynamic routing protocols (BGP/OSPF) and high-availability network paths.
Provide Tier 3 support for network security incidents and next‑generation firewalls.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and OT teams to ensure compliance with industrial security requirements.
