Job summary

Avfuel is seeking a Senior Network Architect to own and modernize our enterprise network environment across headquarters and 30 remote locations. You will define architecture, drive infrastructure strategy, and lead delivery with hands-on leadership and accountability.

Ideal candidates combine deep technical expertise with initiative, setting standards, guiding resources, and delivering scalable, secure network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Fortinet technologies and Cisco switching.
• Deep understanding of routing and switching, firewall architecture and network security.
• Experience with WAN technologies, VPNs, and multi-site connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Define forward-looking network architecture and roadmap for enterprise-wide modernization.
• Lead standardization efforts with Fortinet across all locations.
• Own product selection, lifecycle management and standards for network infrastructure.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions to support growth.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and contractors.
