TEKsystems in Columbia, SC is seeking a Network Engineer/Architect to serve as the client’s technical resource for enterprise network architecture, engineering, and modernization initiatives. You will design, implement, and optimize large-scale network infrastructure across site, data center, cloud, wired, and wireless environments while supporting the EDN vision.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and troubleshooting enterprise routing and switching in large networks.
• Hands-on network automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python or similar tools.
• Experience implementing firewalls, VPNs, NAC, and security policies in enterprise environments.
• Experience leading enterprise network design and modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize large-scale network infrastructure across site, data center, cloud, wired and wireless environments.
• Support the long‑term vision for the client’s Enterprise Data Network (EDN).
• Provide expertise in advanced routing, switching, security, and modernization initiatives to improve reliability and scalability.
