Job summary

CognoStrategy, LLC is seeking an experienced network engineer to design and implement enterprise WAN/LAN solutions for federal IT infrastructure. You will work across multi-vendor environments to engineer, troubleshoot, and optimize complex networks.

The role emphasizes architecture development, capacity planning, redundancy, and modernization programs, with collaboration across program management and SMEs to ensure successful integration and transition to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, telecom, or engineering.
• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Security+ or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops network architecture, implementation standards, and capacity planning strategies.
• Plans redundancy, migration, and modernization of enterprise WAN/LAN and related infrastructure.
• Supports reviews, system testing, commissioning, and operational transition across multi-vendor environments.
• Serves as principal network engineering resource for federal modernization initiatives.
