Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners seeks a seasoned Network Engineer 3 to lead design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale enterprise networks. You will drive secure, resilient architectures across datacenter and LAN environments, with focus on performance and mission-critical operations.

The role requires deep TCP/IP knowledge, VPNs, and experience with virtualization (VMware) and containerized environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; 2 years substitute for degree.
• 8+ years in network engineering covering LAN, security, and monitoring.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or equivalent).
• Extensive experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPsec VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network architectures.
• Architect and enforce network security solutions including firewalls and access controls.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Oversee network performance, capacity planning, and optimization.
