Job summary

Sentara Health Plans is hiring a Medical Device Cyber Security Program Manager to lead and mature the enterprise medical device security program across Sentara’s multi-hospital environment. The role drives governance, risk-based execution, and cross-functional alignment with Cybersecurity, IT, and clinical operations.

You will partner with Clinical Engineering/HTM, vendors, and leadership to strengthen governance, improve vulnerability management, and standardize processes across facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years IT PM experience with a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 5 years IT PM experience without a Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of HIPAA Security Rule and FDA medical device guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise medical device cybersecurity program execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across cybersecurity, IT, Clinical Engineering/HTM, and vendors.
• Oversee risk-based vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Support governance forums, KPIs, and leadership briefings.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and audit expectations.
