Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations Training to design and lead a world-class manufacturing training program across North American sites. You will partner with manufacturing leaders, HR, and the COE to scale onboarding, certification standards, and safety training while driving productivity and quality improvements.

The role emphasizes building scalable curricula, defining trainer standards, and using data to measure impact across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8–10+ years of progressive experience leading manufacturing training or workforce development within manufacturing environments.
• Experience designing, implementing, and scaling enterprise On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs across multiple sites.
• Experience developing skills matrices, operator qualification programs, and workforce readiness initiatives.
• Experience standardizing training processes and leveraging LMS/data to measure training effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise operations training strategy aligned with manufacturing priorities and business objectives.
• Lead production onboarding and OJT frameworks to accelerate time-to-productivity.
• Develop and maintain technical and operational training curricula and role-based learning paths.
• Define trainer qualification standards and quality assurance processes.
• Partner with branch leadership and local training resources to drive alignment and adoption of initiatives.
