Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in McKinney, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to streamline processes, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and warehousing.
You will lead Kaizen initiatives, analyze data, justify automation, develop standard work, and collaborate across functions to deliver on time and within budget.

YOU As a Manufacturing Engineer you will streamline manufacturing process; eliminate waste, increase efficiency, reduce defects, and drive continuous improvement through the manufacturing plant and warehouse/shipping department. You will also be responsible to identify automation needs, research and contact equipment vendors, negotiate prices and terms, spearhead the project, and work across multiple organizations to deliver on time and within budget. You’ll lead a team of Kaizen associates to recognize bottlenecks in manufacturing processes, collect and analyze data, place corrective actions, implement counter measures, evaluate process after change, compile results, present findings, and solutions, and recommend permanent changes to process, develop work instructions and train associates. You are driven to own and maintain all manufacturing processes and meet all guidelines.
This position requires domestic travel up to 10% of the time.
This full-time, exempt position is located in McKinney, TX.
Relocation is not available for this position.
$75,100 - $97,600 / year
