Job summary

Scot Forge is seeking a Corporate Functional Manager, Maintenance to lead enterprise-wide maintenance strategy and reliability initiatives across our Spring Grove, IL, Franklin Park, IL, and Clinton, WI plants. The role focuses on moving from reactive to proactive maintenance, building robust programs, and developing leadership capabilities across sites.

You will partner with Plant Managers and functional leaders to standardize best practices, improve uptime, and drive transformational change

Qualifications

• 10+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably heavy industrial environments.
• Experience in metals manufacturing, forging, steel, machining, heat treat, foundry, or similar operations strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading operational improvement, reliability initiatives, and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide maintenance strategy, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure reliability and performance of critical production, mobile, facility, and infrastructure assets.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, performance metrics, and capital investment planning.
• Develop maintenance leadership, technical talent, and a culture of safety and accountability.
• Lead maintenance organizations across multiple facilities through servant leadership.
• Implement standardized maintenance and reliability best practices to improve uptime and operational performance.
• Develop maintenance leaders through coaching, training, succession planning, and talent development.
• Establish KPIs, support capital projects, and partner with Operations and Engineering on reliability improvements.
• Ensure maintenance activities support a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment.
