Job summary

Mace is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead enterprise software implementation projects from initiation to production deployment and support. You will coordinate HRIS initiatives across HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and Procurement, ensuring governance, risk management, and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have PMP and Agile experience, 5+ years in project management, and a track record with HRIS/HCM platforms like UKG or Workday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, Human Resources, or related field.
• Five or more years of project management experience leading business application or enterprise software implementation projects.
• Experience with full lifecycle of software implementations (requirements, configuration, data migration, testing, deployment, stabilization).
• Experience managing vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with governance, risk, scheduling and executive status reporting.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• PMP or comparable project management certification.
• Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management experience or certification.
• Experience implementing HRIS/HCM platforms (UKG, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, HiBob, ADP Workforce Now) or comparable.
• Experience implementing ERP/financial/governance/asset management/workflow automation or other enterprise SaaS.
• Experience in public sector, transportation, infrastructure, construction, or regulated environment.
• Experience with organizational change management and user adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise software implementation projects from initiation through deployment and support.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs, issue logs, and status reports.
• Manage scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate meetings, steering committees, workshops, and executive briefings.
• Monitor status, risks, issues, decisions, and mitigation strategies.
• Lead the HRIS implementation and coordinate HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, Finance, Procurement teams.
• Oversee requirements gathering, design, configuration reviews, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Ensure readiness and adoption of new processes and technology.
• Coordinate system integrations, data cleansing, mapping, conversion, validation, and migration.
• Plan testing strategies: system, integration, UAT, go-live readiness.
• Develop change management plans with vendors; drive stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate training, documentation, knowledge transfer, and user readiness.
• Support adoption across departments and transition to operations.
